We combine academic records, attendance trends, and weekly sentiment check-ins to detect early signs of socio-emotional risk in middle and early high school students. Each week, counselors and teachers receive a concise risk report, complete with explanation of key drivers, so they can step in with targeted interventions before students fall behind or crisis strikes. Our mission is to foster resilient school communities where every student’s emotional health is identified, supported, and protected.
We’re thrilled to welcome a new advisor to the Early Signal Project, someone whose expertise and values align powerfully with our mission to protect and empower students through ethical, actionable data. Their experience and innovative spirit will bring fresh perspective and strategic insight to our work, and we’re honored to have their guidance as we continue building systems that support early intervention, transparency, and trust. This marks an exciting step forward in our journey.
